Start location: Talk to Doric (he lives in a remote hut between Falador and the Goblin Village).

Getting the ores
1. To start off, talk to Doric who lives north-west of Falador at the house with the anvils, just east of the gate to Taverley.
2. Ask him if you can use his anvil or whetstone.
3. He will ask you for 6 lumps of clay, 4 copper ores and 2 iron ores.
4. If you already have the ores, just talk to him again. If you haven't, the closest place to mine these is in the Dwarven Mine.
Completing the quest
5. Take the ores back to Doric and he'll reward you for your services.
Reward:
180 coins
1,300 mining experience
Ability to use Doric's anvils and whetstone.

You can obtain the ores before ever speaking to Doric by purchasing them from another player or mining them yourself. This way you can complete the quest by talking to Doric again after you have started the quest to complete it instantly.
